A Cotton Lover in Every Crowd
I too love cotton especially with black walnut, sassafras, and the vibrant oak leaf hydrangea.
I would recognize a charming frayed cotton edge anytime too.
Most often my leaf print experiments on cotton mute into beautiful color blends or what some term a prewashed fade.
Cotton is a shy textile and likes a little pre-mordant ceremony before really opening up to a permanent exchange with pigment. The knit weave in cotton Tees and giving prunus make for a pronounced leaf print most every time.
